Bishop Gabriel A.A Mante, Bishop of the Diocese performed the ordination rites after he ensured the suitability of the Candidates from the Priest in-Charge of their formation. As part of the rites, the candidates took the promises of celibacy and promised obedience to the Bishop and his successors. They were vested with a stole and dalmatic as visible signs denoting their office as deacons within the Church and to symbolize their new roles as heralds of Christ’s Gospel and bearers of God’s Word, Bishop Mante entrusted them with the Book of Gospels.

Bishop Mante concluded this special occasion by emphasizing on the need for more vocations to priesthood and religious life. He urged parents and guardians to support children who receive the call to serve Christ and humanity instead of rejecting them.
